Raw?s Elimination Chamber Match for 2012 announced by John Laurinaitis ? WWE news
John Laurinaitis, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations for WWE, as announced this year?s Elimination Chamber match.
The participants of the six man elimination chamber are: CM Punk, Chris Jericho, The Miz, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston. The news was reported by WWE today.
The fighters chosen for the chamber match are all worth opponents. Chris Jericho, who has recently made his comeback, has the edge over others since he has been in the chamber many times before with fiercer wrestlers like Shawn Michaels, Goldberg, Triple H, and the like.
However, he has not won any of it yet. On the other hand, The Miz and R-Truth have their own scores to settle. Former tag team partners and now enemies, The Miz and R-Truth are known for their sly acts, which gives rise to the idea that they might play friends in the chamber to outclass others.
CM Punk who is currently the crowd?s favourite will be looking forward to prove his mettle against Chris Jericho, who attacked him in this week?s Monday Night Raw making him lose the title match against Daniel Bryan. CM Punk is a smart fighter and so is Y2J. They both know how to keep their opponents under the thumb. Both wrestlers will be aiming to beat the other with their signature moves.
Will Punk be jaw-broken or will Jericho go to sleep? We do not know that yet and we have to wait for the fight to execute to see which one of them beats the other.
Kofi Kingston is yet another highly energetic fighter with highflying moves that can make any opponent succumb to him. Dolph Ziggler is more of a power fighter who uses his strength and body mass to overcome his opponents.
Seems like John Laurinaitis has made a smart move this time since he has put all the entertainers in one cage making it the most happening match of 2012 as of yet. Chris Jericho and Punk both look in good shape which means they are up for giving their best to their fans. The Miz and R-Truth both are guileful and that is what makes them so unique. Basically, it will be a couple of wolves and foxes in a cage to fight for the meat.
