When Snooki announced that she was expecting her first child with fiancé Jionni LaValle back in March, many, including her best friend JWoww, were shocked by the news. After seeing some jaw-dropping moments on "Jersey Shore," some fans were having a hard time picturing the pint-sized reality star as a mom-to-be, but they are about to see a whole new side of her in her upcoming spin-off series "Snooki & JWoww."

The two girls take on Jersey City, New Jersey, in their upcoming show, which premieres Thursday (June 21), and we will see Snooki trading in her party days to prepare for parenthood.

"I think the fans are used to seeing me personally just drunk and partying so this time obviously you're going to see me just preparing to be a mom," Snooki recently told MTV News. "And just enjoying life, just being myself and be who I am day to day and not going crazy."

The show captures Snooki as she experiences her first trimester of pregnancy, a time where expectant moms are known for not feeling their best.

"I was honestly very scared to film because the first trimester you're either throwing up, you're hugging the toilet, you're very tired, you're grumpy and I didn't want that to ruin our show," Snooki said. "But I didn't really get any of those symptoms. I was just really tired, but I'm always tired, so it didn't really affect anything. I was a little grumpy."

JWoww admits that she was "really proud" of her friend embracing her pregnancy, but if there was one thing she learned from watching her deal with the ups and downs of being pregnant, it's that she is not ready to have kids anytime soon.

"I just put a chastity belt on," JWoww said.

"I made her not want to get pregnant with all the complaining telling her how horrible I feel," Snooki said of her pal. "She's like, 'I'm never having kids.' "

"Snooki & JWoww" premieres Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
