Overly Attached Girlfriend: ALWAYS Watching You!

ATTENTION, GUYS: If your girlfriend is anything like this chick ... or this chick specifically, you may wanna make a run for it. Immediately if not sooner.

Of course, that's pointless, as she's guaranteed to have already attached a GPS tracking device to your car ... and possibly sewn one into your jeans.

Witness protection program may be your only hope.

Basically, those crazy eyes are always watching you, your friends, your Facebook updates, anything. Hope she's good in bed, 'cause you're stuck with her!

Overly Attached Girlfriend debuted two months ago, June 6. But she still deserves some love here, as a public service announcement if nothing else.

Fellas, and ladies ... if your significant other makes that face at you, just throw your phone in the nearest body of water and haul ass. Work out the details later.

If it wasn't obvious, she's spoofing the hit song "Boyfriend" by Justin Bieber, but with some interesting new lyrics revealing her inner clingy psycho.

Overly Attached Girlfriend has also become a popular Reddit meme.

Falling through cracks if states don't expand Medicaid

Derek Anderson has been on Medicare since he got leukemia and lost his job and health insurance. His wife, Erica, is without any coverage and hopes she won't get sick. They could be eligible for Medicaid in 2014 if the states expand it as called for under the health reform law, but now their future is unclear after the Supreme Court said states can opt out.

A back-to-the-future technology, first used more than 100 years ago, has put a new form of wood on the market a veritable "miracle wood" that resists the moisture-induced bowing, swelling, cupping, shrinking and cracking that have been downsides of natural wood for thousands of years. The new "acetylated wood" is the topic of a story in the current edition of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN). C&EN is the weekly newsmagazine of the American Chemical Society, the world's largest scientific society.

Alexander H. Tullo, C&EN senior editor, explains that production of acetylated wood relies on a process much different from pressure treatment, which infuses insect- and rot-resistant chemicals into wood. Instead, the acetylation process uses heat, pressure and a substance termed acetic anhydride to permanently expand the cell walls in wood into a fixed position that resists water absorption. That absorption of moisture from the air, ground or rainfall underpins the familiar bending, bowing, rotting and other problems with natural wood.

The article points out that acetylation technology has been available for more than a century, and acetylated wood pulp has been used to make photographic film, cigarette filters, coatings for playing cards and other products. It is getting a second life thanks to technological advances made since similar products failed to get off the ground in the 1930s. Manufacturers such as Eastman Chemical and Accsys Technologies attribute its new success to the growing desire for green products. The new wood has similar properties to modern construction materials like aluminum and PVC but a much smaller carbon footprint. And although it costs about three and a half times more than untreated wood, Eastman's technology manager for acetylated wood says its durability makes it worth it for customers.

Home builders are catering to boomers ? Greg Bain & Company

Early in his career as a custom home builder, Joe Sortino says he spotted a trend: The aging baby boomer population would need homes to accommodate their changing lifestyles.
Written by
Mary Chao
Sortino, who does business under the name Sortino Properties, began to concentrate on the market for downsizing empty nesters, with new home communities in Greece and Pittsford; his latest is in Webster, near Lake Ontario.

The demand for single-story living continues to grow as this population looks for homes that suit how they want to live now. Local builders like Sortino are fine-tuning properties for this market.

As baby boomers regain their losses from the stock market collapse of a few years ago, builders are seeing more demand for new single-story homes, said Rick Herman, CEO of Rochester Homebuilders? Association.

Empty nesters who are looking to downsize have options when it comes to new-build homes, Herman said, noting that there are single-family detached homes, townhomes, condominiums, doubles and multi-units.

Sortino?s Webster development, named Cambridge Court, features ranch-style townhomes that start at $179,900 for about 1,500 square feet of living space. It is built for an active senior, with features that will allow for future comfort, such as extra-wide doors to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. Another thoughtful feature is the flared door handles, which make it easier for people with arthritis to grasp them, Sortino says.

The floor plan features open spaces where the living room, dining area and kitchen all flow into one. Details such as crown moldings highlight the living space.

By talking with and listening to his customers, Sortino says he is able to improve on his projects. He is planning a new development in the village of Churchville, where new townhome prices will start at $159,900.

George and Audrey Graban will soon be moving into Sortino?s Webster development, downsizing from a larger home on Sodus Bay. ?We decided to go small,? says Audrey Graban.

One of the appealing attractions of the townhome is the full unfinished basement with extra space, as they have two children and five grandchildren, George Graban said.

Many empty nesters no longer want the hassle of yard work, preferring a homeowner?s association to take care of lawn mowing and snow shoveling, Sortino said, noting that some may be snowbirds who may want a place half a year in the Rochester area.

The demand for new housing rebounded significantly this year, said Sortino, who is also president of the homebuilders association.

As the consumer confidence continues to get better and baby boomers continue to grow older, the demand for new-build homes that suit their lifestyles will remain strong, Herman said.

burberry soldes Small Business Pitfalls of Banner Advertisin ...

Despite what you might sometimes hear, banner advertising is still very successful for many small businesses, mercurial, polo ralph lauren Effective virtual meeting with global coll, but only if carried out in the right way. What is the right way, and how does your business avoid the pitfalls of advertising on the internet? The answer is to understand the customer more than many advertisers seem to. There are very many examples of poor advertising on the internet. It is only by being aware of the poor tactics used by those businesses that fail to understand their visitors that you can make sure your own banner advertisements are successful.

An example of a banner advert can be found on the overwhelming majority of web pages across the internet. However, louboutin, of course, prevalence is no testament to either quality or success, and in many cases, neither attribute seems very evident. Most people have become utterly tired of the clich?d banners flashing like a Las Vegas neon sign that is trying to outdo the rest of the website. Typically, burberry soldes, these adverts congratulate the visitor on being the 100,louboutin,000,000th visitor to see the advert, in which case you feel deeply sorry for the other 99,abercrombie,999,999 people who have also had to risk having a seizure and getting nothing for their trouble, louis vuitton, doudoune moncler pas cher Man dissatisfied with the break up to kill his girlfri!

Similarly, banner adverts which try to frighten potential customers into clicking on them have tended to become shunned, burberry outlet, ignored or blocked, air jordan, such as those suggesting that, in the microsecond since the web page was loaded, louis vuitton outlet, they have managed to scan your entire hard drive and discover a virus which was evidently missed by that expensive, award winning anti-virus software you keep updated every day.

Visually nauseating banner adverts, polo ralph lauren Choosing The Right Tattoo Artist, or those which either try to frighten people into clicking no longer have very successful click through rates, and do more harm than good. Yet banner adverts persist. Why? Simply because there are enough examples of good and effective advertising out there that work, for them to remain economically viable.

It takes a great deal of thought and effort for a small business to achieve success with this form of internet advertising. Avoiding repulsive flashing colour themes, fear or trickery are just the first pitfalls to avoid. Another major problem is trustworthiness. Most visitors tend to view banner advertisements with a deep sense of distrust. You?re already starting on the back foot, jordan, having to somehow persuade the visitor you are trustworthy, honest and reliable, burberry, intent on doing no harm, louboutin pas cher, nor of assaulting the senses or of pulling some kind of unpleasant stunt. All this in a handful of words and a small image is asking a lot, but it is possible.

One of the other dangers banner advertisers tend to leap into like lemmings having a bad day is trying to fool the visitor into clicking the advert. This isn?t quite the same as frightening them into clicking the advert by making it look like a virus alert or system message, but in visually disguising the advert to appear as though it was a genuine portion of the website. This is not a tactic which your business should employ.

The reason is because visitors do not like being deceived. Clicking on a link because it looks like part of the website menu, and then finding that you?re whisked off to a website far, far away on a server somewhere in Eastern Europe is not a good way to encourage repeat visitors.

Remember, your banner advertising is often the very first impression people receive of your business. Take a good long hard look at your internet adverts, and ask yourself if that really is how you want your business to be perceived by your potential customers.

If you?re not yet hooked on ABC?s triumphant storybook drama?Once Upon a Time, you might be now, as the hit action/adventure is overloading its second season with more familiar fantasy faces. Premiering with over 13 million viewers, Once Upon a Time was ABC?s largest debut in five years and the show looks to continue its success with new storylines and characters, including Captain Hook and Sleeping beauty.

Making his enigmatic entrance in the fourth episode of the upcoming season, Hook is described to be a never-back-down pirate that will not stop until his enemies are defeated. Captain Hook hides his malicious intent behind his dashing good looks, classy debonair demeanor and beguiling well-mannered nature. Irish actor Colin O?Donoghue (The Rite) has been cast as Hook, which is set to be a recurring role.

Joining O?Donoghue this season is former True Blood star Michael Raymond-James, who is fixed to play a ?mysterious new character? ? which is all ABC is giving us for now. Although we are still left in the dark on even the name of Raymond-James? new character, it hasn?t stopped many from speculating it might be Baelfire, Rumpelstiltskin?s long-lost son who was sucked into a portal from the fairytale world to, presumably, our reality.

Whether or not Raymond-James will be playing Baelfire?s Storybrooke counterpart remains to be seen, but he?s not the first True Blood alum to work his magic on Once Upon a Time ? last year Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam on True Blood) closed the first season as the maliciously magnificent Maleficent, whose evil actions will cause many repercussions throughout this season.

Feeling the burn from Maleficent dragon breath this season are newcomers Princess Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty) and her heroic Prince Phillip, played by Irish actress Sarah Bolger (Game of Thrones?) and Pretty Little Liars star Julian Morris, respectively. Sleeping Beauty is tagged as someone who ?could be mistaken for a spoiled rich girl?. Not much is known about her character beyond that ? but her handsome Prince Phillip is described as a man who ?has been on many long, hard journeys, and is a warrior from a kingdom that is no longer as well off as it once was.?

Sinqua Walls -?who currently appears as new werewolf Boyd on Teen Wolf season 2 -?will guest-star as the legendary Sir Lancelot. After being banished from the Round Table, Lancelot becomes a sword for hire who is only made more dangerous by the fact he has nothing to lose. Another fabled warrior to appear this season is Mulan, brought to life by Jamie Chung (The Hangover 2). Mulan, who will recur throughout this season, is described as having a ?spirituality that enhances her tactical and strategic abilities.?

Branching out a bit more this season, Once Upon a Time will also be adding yet-to-be-cast fairytale characters Aladdin, Jafar, Ariel and Jack. No word yet on how these characters will be portrayed on the small screen, but Jack is expected to be all the Jacks of storybook land, including Jack of and the Beanstalk fame and possibly Little Jack Horner. Also confirmed at this year?s Comic-con ? Emma Swan?s (Jennifer Morrison ) Volkswagen bug will not your average car -?that?s right he?s Herbie the Love Bug!

Along with new the faces it has been announced that previous guest stars Emilie de Raivin (Roswell, Lost), who had a recurring role last season as Belle, and Meghan Ory (Supernatural) who played as Ruby(aka Red Riding Hood) will both be upgraded to series regulars.

Get your first glimpse of Captain Hook in the sneak peak clip below. Tick tock!:

Revenue Miss Masked This Appetizing Buy | Stocks | Minyanville's ...

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The most recent quarter brought on a stock price slaughter?at Chipotle (CMG)?that it hadn't?seen since 2009 and it was mainly due to a slowdown in same store sales. [Editor's note: CMG was last traded at $296.65. It hit an all-time high of $440 mid-April.]

?Much to the dismay of investors, Chipotle only grew at a rate of 8% for same store sales (versus the analyst expectations of 10%).? Adding fuel to the selling fire was the quote from Chipotle?s CFO who stated in a conference call, ?We?re seeing a slowdown. I mean, there is no other way around it? It?s not a significant slowdown, but it is a slowdown.?

Some have postulated that the slowdown was brought on by Taco Bell?s (YUM) recent entry into the space with its new ?Cantina? products.? However, during the most recent quarter reported, the only product that launched at Taco Bell was the Dorito Los Tacos which I think I can safely assume is not a strong competitor to Chipotles? fresh, locally-sourced (and higher priced) fare.? Unfortunately, this recent drop was from other competitors: Either national chains like Panera (PNRA) (which are still seeing an increase in same store sales), or other local venues.

One may ask why we suggest buying Chipotle before the effects of Taco Bell?s Cantina menu are realized. The answer is twofold:

1. According to multiple online food critiques, Taco Bell?s Cantina products are still sub-par compared with Chipotle?s offerings.? Although Taco Bell?s premium products are still cheaper than Chipotles, a quick web search reveals that most people who compare the Cantina menu against Chipotle are not quite satisfied with the new entrant into the space.? In some reviews of the Cantina menu, a few adjectives included words like ?slimey? and ?gluteny,? along with a few other less savory descriptions.

2. Consumers don?t just buy food.? They buy an experience.? Most people thinking about what they want to eat include other factors into their decision, including pricing, food quality, organic/sustainable products, convenience, and overall user experience.? I find it hard to believe that consumers will be willing to sacrifice the overall experience of Chipotle to save a few dollars and eat at Taco Bell.? As an example, if you were going on an informal lunch date, which restaurant are you more likely to choose?

Recommendation

This investment thesis was generated using ChartLabPro.com?s ?Oversold? scan.? A screenshot of Chipotle's profile can be referenced below.?

As can be referenced in the lower left of the graphic, the recommendation for the time being is to wait for Chipotle to change ratings before selling or adding to this company.? Its overall rating is a strong sell, from a technical perspective, but as can be seen in the lower right of the graphic, Chipotle is in an oversold status, meaning that we could see an uptick in the stock price as it reverts more towards its previous level.

chipotle-mexican-grill-chart

?In this case, we can reasonably assume that the market overreacted to the bad news and that we should see a reversal soon.

As for fundamentals, Chipotle's valuation is weighted heavily by the future growth story.? Even after the less-than-stellar news, analysts? median price target is still at $400, and Trefis.com analysts? estimates concur.? Even if accounting for a slower growth rate and diminishing EBITDA margins, Chipotle is still slightly undervalued at this time.

Given the fact that Chipotle is at least slightly undervalued, and barring any other negative company news, consider entering or increasing your position in this company as the technical signals turn positive.
